I neglected to ask the name of the chap who helped me (I bought the 28-70 and a strap) but the service was excellent. The trick he mentioned for removing a recalcitrant filter from lens (using an elastic band!) worked perfectly, I was amazed how easy it was. Thanks again

I have just sent the attached email to GDPUK, a dental forum with 2500 UK dentists. We have a Canon 350D.....Canon Ring flashMR14EX......Sigma 105mm Macro lens.....and my team take all the photos....20Gb so far. I called in this morning to your Newbury shop to discuss my lack of satisfaction with the results from my Minolta D5. Your extremely helpful expert had no hesitation in looking into the problem which culminated in him cleaning the CCD twice to remove an oily type residue which I guess had been there for a couple of years. The results are as if I had bought a new camera so a big thank you to him.
