Design & Build
The Lumix S 14-28mm f4-5.6 Macro lens is incredibly compact and lightweight, measuring just 89.9mm and weighing only 345g, with a filter size of 77mm.

The lens has been constructed from 14 elements in 10 groups including one aspherical ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lens, one aspherical lens, three ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses and one UHR (Ultra High Refractive Index) lens. The aspherical lenses ensure sharp detail and beautiful bokeh, while the ED lenses help to suppress chromatic aberration.

High Speed, High Precision AF System
The lens has been designed to offer smooth, silent operation, working with the camera’s high-speed, high-precision AF system. When using the non-linear setting, the focus is shifted with a variable amount according to the rotation speed of the focus ring. When using the linear setting, the focus is shifted with a designated amount according to the rotational quantum of the focus ring.

Sensitivity (the amount of focus shift per rotational quantum) can be adjusted from 90º to 360º, giving the user outstanding control over focus performance.*

The LUMIX S 14-28mm has been optimised for videographers, featuring professional-level options such as micro-step aperture control for smooth exposure change and a mechanism to suppress focus breathing, allowing you to film in situations where discretion is paramount.

Dust & Splash Resistant*
The lens boasts a dust- and splash-resistant* design so that you are able to use it in difficult weather conditions, including temperatures as low as -10º Celsius. The front lens element has been given a fluorine coating to help repel oil and water.
