50% Lighter
15mm is a frequently used focal length, and this lens has been designed to be compact and lightweight enough to take with you anywhere. The lens consists of one FLD glass element, three SLD glass elements, and three double-sided aspherical lenses that have been precisely arranged to achieve a body that is approximately 30% shorter and 50% lighter than its predecessor, the SIGMA 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary.

Uncompromising Sharpness
Sigma developed the 15mm f1.4 Contemporary with the ambition of surpassing the optical performance of its predecessor, with special attention being given to enhancing edge-to-edge sharpness while effectively suppressing sagittal coma flare. This has resulted in uncompromising sharpness across the entire frame, even when shooting wide open.

Rich Expressive Power
The Sigma 15mm f1.4 Contemporary delivers outstanding optical quality, even when using the maximum aperture, so that you can use in low-light situations or create smooth, circular bokeh that draws focus to your subject and adds a strong sense of depth regardless of whether you are shooting photo or video.

Minimal Ghost and Flaring
Sigma has used advanced simulation technology to effectively suppress flare and ghosting, ensuring clear, high-contrast images in a wide range of lighting conditions.

Perfect for Hybrid Shooters
The Sigma 15mm f1.4 Contemporary has been designed for mobility, making it well-suited for gimbal-based shooting, offering flexibility in dynamic or fast-paced settings.

Smooth, Responsive Autofocus
The lens is capable of high-speed, high-precision autofocus thanks to a stepping motor that drives a lightweight focus lens for accurate control to ensure that you capture crucial moments without missing a beat.

Minimal Focus Breathing
The lens has been engineered to minimise changes in the angle of view during focusing, to ensure smooth, natural-looking focus transitions when recording video.
