Large sensor performance in a compact body
At the core of the DC-TZ300 is a 20.1 megapixel 1-type back-illuminated CMOS sensor. This gives it an advantage over many smaller-sensor compact cameras when you need cleaner detail, more flexibility for cropping and better overall image quality across a wide range of scenes. The camera also supports RAW capture, giving more room for editing when you want extra control over colour, contrast and detail.

15x optical zoom for travel and everyday reach
The Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens delivers a 15x optical zoom with an aperture range of F3.3-6.4. This makes the Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ300 well-suited to travel photography, from wide scenes and architecture through to more distant subjects that would be difficult to frame on a standard compact camera. Intelligent Zoom extends this to 30x, while Extra Optical Zoom is available at reduced image sizes for even more reach.

Steadier shooting for stills and video
To help keep results sharp when shooting handheld, the camera features 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ stabilisation. This is especially useful when working at the telephoto end of the zoom range or when recording video on the move. It helps the DC-TZ300 remain practical for holidays, sightseeing and family use where tripods are rarely part of the kit.

4K video and 4K Photo capture
The Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ300 records 4K video at up to 30p and Full HD at up to 60p, giving you strong video quality in a compact format. It also offers 4K Photo modes at 30 frames per second, which are useful when you want to capture fast or unpredictable moments and select the best frame afterwards. High-speed video recording is available in Full HD output from 100fps or 120fps sensor output for smooth slow-motion playback.

Fast focusing and useful creative controls
The camera includes a broad autofocus feature set with Face and Eye Detection, Tracking, 49-area AF, 1-area AF and Pinpoint AF. It also supports Post Focus, Focus Stacking, Focus Peaking and Low Light AF, giving you more flexibility whether you are photographing people, close-up details or static scenes. Exposure modes include Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual, so the camera can adapt to straightforward point-and-shoot use as well as more hands-on shooting.

Designed for convenience on the move
The DC-TZ300 is easy to carry at approximately 111.2 x 66.4 x 45.2mm and around 337g with battery and SD card fitted. A 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD with 1,840k-dot resolution gives clear framing and playback, while built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth make it easier to transfer images and connect with compatible devices. USB Type-C charging adds further convenience when travelling light.
